THE THIRD ANNUAL 2012 RAW CONTEST STARTS AUGUST 1ST 2012!

2011's RAW Display Contest was a heated competition! All of the Raw Contestants had amazing displays to showcase, and this year we are excited to see where our contestant's RAW creativity will take them. There has been a few changes to the rules, so if you are new or just need to reacquaint yourself with how the RAW Contest works, here's the short version:

  • Sign up using the link to the left and get your RAW SWAG KIT
  • Make a RAWkin display in your storefront.
  • Take and submit 6 hi-rez pics by November 1st, 2012
  • Have fun and good luck!

  • First: All you have to do is sign up. It's just that easy! The RAW Contest is all about fun and RAWesome cash prizes! Contestants just need to fill out the form under the "Sign Up" link to the left. Please use the form! We can not guarentee entry if you just send an email to your HBI Rep. Please use the form!

  • Next: Each contestant will receive a "RAW SWAG KIT". This awesome box-o-swag contains RAW promo items to be used in the display. All you have to do is set up your display by October 1st and keep it up for a minimum of 2 (two) weeks. Now you don't have to use any or all of the items in your display, we just want to get you some popular RAW items to get the creative juices flowing! A list of the contents are posted on the right.

  • Then: take some RAWesome photos of your hard work. The photos of your display must be submitted by November 1, 2012. Every display is unique, so be sure to add your own flare and make your display POP! Submit 6 (six) photo's (preferably Hi-Rez) to rawcontest@rawthentic.com or you can use the upload form under the "Submit" link to the left.

  • Finally: Win! Winners will be annouced December 1, 2012. The winners will be Hand Picked by the founder Josh; he's got a keen eye and is looking forward to see what you and your store come up with! So, good luck and have fun!

What's in the RAW SWAG KIT?

RAW SWAG KITS will be provided FREE OF CHARGE to any store that registers for the RAW Display Contest while supplies last. The Swag Kits will be mailed to our contestants within 2 (two) business days upon registering for the RAW Display Contest.

What Contestants Receive:

The RAW Display Contest is not only a way to get some really cool cash and prizes for you store, it is also a Rawesome way to get foot traffic and drive sales to your store. Every Contestant will have their store location placed on our RAW store locator.

Another great benefit to the RAW Display Contest is the sales driven by the presentation. Almost all of our customers that participated in the contest in 2010 and 2011 saw, at minimum, a 37% sales increase with RAW products. What's in the RAW SWAG KIT?

Why do we require this info?

RAW Rolling Papers is dedicated to your privacy and will never sell your information to any third party. We require your information so that we can send your starter kit out to the proper address, as well as use this information to put your store on the RAW store locator so that consumers will be able to find you. We require a Tobacco License number or EIN to ensure that you are qualified to sell tobacco products or a Retailer of RAW products in your state. This allows us to make sure that you are a qualified retailer of RAW products and tobacco related product, as well as other legal mumbo jumbo. Your Phone Number and Website are optional, however this information will be used on our locator and help further drive traffic to your store.

RULES, TERM AND CONDITIONS:

CONTEST IS FOR RETAIL STORES, SUPERMARKET CHAINS & BUSINESSES ONLY
Individuals do not qualify.

IMPLEMENTING YOUR DISPLAY FOR JUDGING:

1. Your RAW display must be in place for at least two weeks, hopefully 4 weeks (bonus points awarded), by October 1, 2012.

2. Displays must be based on RAW Rolling Papers. However displays should never contain tobacco in the display.

3. You may use any RAW / HBI materials or print collateral and/or make your own creative display pieces.

4. The RAW Display must appear in your store.

5. Entry judging will be done by representatives of HBI INTERNATIONAL / RAW Rolling Papers. Entries will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Interactivity of the display.
  • RAW Brand advertising and Brand Awareness.
  • Eye-catching display--Custom creations that showcase the RAW brand are highly encouraged.

SUBMITTING YOUR DISPLAY FOR JUDGING:

1. ALL entries MUST HAVE REGISTERED BEFORE THE OCTOBER 1st, 2012 deadline.

2. Entries must be received no later than OCTOBER 1st, 2012. All winners will be notified by DECEMBER 1st, 2012. HBI INTERNATIONAL / RAW is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected mail.

3. Entries must be submitted at www.rawthentic.com/rawcontest. All entries must contain either a tobacco license number or an Employer Identification Number. We cannot guarentee entry if you send your information to you HBI Sales Rep and not through the webform

4. All entries will receive a "RAW SWAG KIT" while supplies last. These kits are for promotional use only - not for sale. This Starter Kit is only valid for use by the intended recipient and any unauthorized use of any of the swag kit contents is strictly prohibited.

6. Prizes will be awarded subject to your company's policies regarding distribution of such awards. It is the entrant's sole responsibility to conform to such policies. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the cash prize winners.

7. Take high-quality photos, and use close-ups to accent details not visible in your wide, all-inclusive or size enhanced photos. Be sure that when emailing your photos to put your name, address, store name and business telephone number on each email containing your display photos.

8. Entries and commentaries become the property of HBI INTERNATIONAL / RAW, including all advertising and promotional rights, and will not be returned. HBI INTERNATIONAL / RAW reserves the right to use owner's name/photos for publicity purposes without further compensation. Contest is void where prohibited by law or restricted by store policy.

QUICK TIPS:

To help protect the eyes of minors and non-smokers please do not show or use cigarette tobacco in your display. Please submit your photos by November 1st, 2012. Be Creative as possible, the displays will be judged by our staff as well as the founder Josh.
